The annual health assessment for CSC has been sent out today, with the request that staff complete and return by 31 January.
The Branch would like to encourage members to complete this as it is their chance to have an anonymous say. We understand that some people don’t want to identify the team they work in, but then this does mean that the findings aren’t as meaningful. There are options not to say, but where there are more than a couple in the same posts we would encourage them all to complete – that way they are less identifiable if that’s the concern.
Some people also think that it’s pointless but it does become more so if only 20/30% of those who can have a say do so.
If we feel there are issues within the department then this is our opportunity to encourage staff to have their say. We then have something to act on – if that’s the outcome.
