Holocaust Memorial Day 2020

Holocaust Memorial Day takes place every year on 27 January.

This year is particularly significant as it marks 75 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau and Belsen.

The theme is ‘Stand Together’, a powerful expression of solidarity that is also at heart of the trade union movement’s response to fascism, antisemitism and the politics of hate.

The Branch will hold 2 aggregate meetings this year:-

6th March 2020 – 5.30pm – The Bureau, Penny St, Blackburn, BB1 6HL

Hot Supper also being served with short quiz followed by Live Music from The Majesticks – see attached poster  AGM poster 2020

11th March 2020 – 12.30pm – Council Chambers, Town Hall, Blackburn, BB1 7DY – Light Refreshments available.
